Mandaluyong, Philippines (April 19, 2024) Last week, 4Life Philippines General Manager Eileen Tan-Dario pledged to donate five million pesos to the Gawad Kalinga Foundation.
The Gawad Kalinga (GK) Foundation aims to build at least 20,000 barangays (villages) to help fight against poverty and restore human dignity. The houses in GK villages are built with aid from donors and the government. Donors provide the necessary funds and often share their time and efforts to help build the houses.
The donation from Foundation 4Life Philippines will be used to build 20 houses to form the 4Life GK Village in Cavite, Philippines. The beneficiaries of this project will primarily be families with children. The program aligns with Foundation 4Life’s mission of breaking the cycle of poverty.
